The Solar Research Institute (SRI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization based in Washington, DC. SRI was founded to increase understanding of solar energy. To accomplish this goal, SRI performs a broad range of research, education, and public service activities.
The Solar Research Institute (SRI) will will provide leadership, coalition coordination, policy research, quantitative analysis, and communications support. We will educate key Virginia policy stakeholders and support policies advancing solar energy and other renewable energy. SRI will ensure renewable energy businesses engage in developing policies and market structures. SRI will ensure solar energy perspective is provided through expertise, educating policy leadership within the Administration and the Legislature, and collaboration with other stakeholders.
